Being a new First Reader, I really can appreciate the importance Mrs. Eddy gave the Lesson-Sermons. Every week I am SO grateful to the Lesson Committee for the brilliant (meaning both intelligent & shining) Lessons they put together. I am in awe! The more I study them, the more I see the threads running through them and the ideas rising higher and higher as I go deeper and deeper. And how wonderful it is that all the Christian Scientists in the world are studying and pondering the same ideas together during the week. So precious! Thank you for sharing this reminiscence. Love, Jenny
